No senior stick hurling this weekend & not really any other sport of note bar the CL final tonight. They could finish Leinster & Munster round robins on different weekends & push the whole thing back another month or two. Squeezing a load of games into the month of May is sub-optimal when games in one province are clashing with those in the other.

Box ticking exercises. These fixtures just need to be fulfilled and got out of the way as quickly as possible. August and September is concert season in Croke Park now. Robbie Williams and Oasis, I believe it is this year.
