Forget your gooch he was the real GOAT
You can sing that
And the Kerry animals wouldn’t even pick him half the time
I was over with the folks last night and the oul boy insists Matt Connor was the GOAT.
Your old boy clearly knows a thing or two.
Matt Connor was an outstanding footballer.
Others who deserve honourable mentions are Matty Ford and Delaney Brown. Both are recognised as being incredible players but had either played for the likes of Kerry or Dublin, would certainly have been up there
Delaney Browne is a great name.
Hughie’s hat-trick!
Hughie got a job with some GAA magazine after that. I think he lasted about 10 days
His second goal that day was a near carbon copy of Padraic Joyce against Kildare in 98, with a lovely feint to leave the keeper in a hape.
In other Laois GAA news, I was in Dublin last week for a meeting and saw Cheddar. He’s some horse of a man.
Worked with Hughie. Gas man
Pity there wasn’t the likes of Joe.ie back then for guys like Hughie.
Any simpleton with a bit of a profile could work there.
