Your old boy clearly knows a thing or two.

Matt Connor was an outstanding footballer.
Others who deserve honourable mentions are Matty Ford and Delaney Brown. Both are recognised as being incredible players but had either played for the likes of Kerry or Dublin, would certainly have been up there

Hughie got a job with some GAA magazine after that. I think he lasted about 10 days :smile:

His second goal that day was a near carbon copy of Padraic Joyce against Kildare in 98, with a lovely feint to leave the keeper in a hape.

In other Laois GAA news, I was in Dublin last week for a meeting and saw Cheddar. He’s some horse of a man. :horse:
