He is right about young people being almost immune to it. The problem is that they are carriers. A team I’m currently involved with has two players that have parents who are undergoing cancer treatment. They live with their parents whose immunity is compromised.

O Rourke is a prick. He used his weekly SI column during the last recession to routinely say that public service wages should be cut. The same hoor is close to the top of the tree in wages with him bring a principal. However himself and the brother went tits up on a property investment that NAMA took over.
Added to that he is a woeful analyst who’s only controversial comment over the last 20 years had racist undertones.
