Limerick are shit scared of and have a massive inferiority complex regards Tipp. The "Limerick never feared Tipp " line is something that if said enough seems true.
In fairness a logical solution to the imbalance in the hurling championship would be to switch Waterford into Leinster and Galway into Munster and have East and West Conferences.

That would make far, far too much sense.
And we’d get loads of games against cannon fodder like Offaly, Laois, Westmeath, Wexford and Dublin to help us tune up for an annual tilt against the Evil Empire.
Its almost like you read my mind. Be great to see Waterford play Kilkenny yearly as well.
I have advocated this for years. Waterford winning a few handy Munsters changed the dynamic a bit though
