Galway - quadruple travails part 2

Comhghairdeas! Just saw it there a few minutes ago

Bearna win the G4 derby. The Salthill crowd will be choking on their frappachinos.

Cyril made a big boo boo dropping Tom in 97. Wasn’t he an All Star in '96?

I dedicate that win to the little folk of Rahoon

Never knew they were called Brendan’s.

Have you the tables Maurice? The shams in real bother now.

Just the eighty odd miles between ballygar and clifden!

I was meant to say that the new Galway GAA website is a big improvement. Fairly sure they’d updated tables within minutes of the final whistle in the Oughterard/Killannin match.

Senior clubs for a long time until last year both Killererin and An CheathrĂș Rua are in danger of dropping all the way down to junior. After finishing bottom of their respective groups.

Brendan’s v Clifden in the preliminary quarter finals in intermediate. Got to be one of the longest spins between two clubs in the same county. 138 km.

A Shane Walsh less Kilkerrin-Clonberne also in danger of dropping down to junior. Will Shane come back to grace the junior football ranks in Galway?

Just Google maped it there, 2hours and 12 minute drive. By god.

Nearly half the journey for a lot of Clifden folk going up to Croker is just getting out of Galway county. Some proper football folk out that side too, in fairness.

How are Corofin looking this year?

Always in with a shout. I haven’t seen them play yet this year. Bearna have their tails up could give them a rattle
Hard to see beyond the big 3 M’cullen, M/M or Corofin really.

Pretty good. They are walking their group anyway. If Moycullen weren’t there I’d say they’d have a decent shot at winning it outright.

Salthill seem to be out of sorts this year.

Moycullen are going all the way this year
