I’d be reluctant to criticise lads that hsve an All Ireland medal for Galway. I was in the gym thevother day and they were showing the 2012 drawn final. Jaysus they fucked it away in the second half. Kilkenny didn’t have to work too hard for their scores.

Kevin Cooney is OUT! That’ll be a huge boost to Craughwell.
Eanna Cooney going well for a Sars outfit yet to get going
Monaghan is so far deep by his standards that Josie Cooney can’t mark him without leaving a big gap.
Super goal from Craughwell
Monaghan is putting in some shift here. 0-7 from play and he’s doing plenty of donkey-work.
Morrissey fucked his shoulder again and is subbed off
A Kevin Cooney goal has Sars lifted bigtime. 1-16 to 1-19 to Craughwell with about 8 minutes left including injury time.
0-9 from play for Monaghan. Maybe the best I’ve seen from him for Craughwell.

Craughwell were excellent against the breeze. Killeen is fantastic from placed ball. Howley was fantastic too from the half-backs.
Some big names on the bench

Athenry hitting some very poor wides with the wind that could be costly. Rabbitte not properly into the match as Paul Hoban and Coen are doing a solid job marking him.

Loughrea had a clear penalty when Vince Morgan was fouled but it was called back for a free-in about 15 metres back as he was on advantage.

0-8 a piece here but not a great standard to the match. Athenry made no real use of the breeze so would expect Loughrea to win this comfortably enough.

Premier Intermediate semi finals
Meelick-Eyrecourt v Kilconieron
Mullagh v Skehana-Mountbellew/Moylough
Three of them were in the same group weren’t they, with SMM topping it. Would be some change to the landscape if they made it up senior.
2 goals in a minute for Loughrea. Game over
2 quick goals Loughrea
2-11 to 0-9
Loughrea successfully crowding out Rabbitte.
Rabbitte has had a tough aul day at the office. Most intercounty teams haven’t marked him out this well.
Rabbitte coming into it now but not enough time left
