Tannian motm. Well deserved. Played well throughout. Shefflin was poor in 1st half, Canning was quiet in 2nd half. Murphy should have been one of the picks, had a great match.

3 kk players ended up on the gnd simply because their legs are gone , hogans goal was better in my view

Well then Tyrell was the flute who didn’t shepherd this no mark down the line and let him hit it harmlessly wide. But no Tyrell was consumed by the cult of manly hurling and had to play the poor percentage play.

Didn’t see todays game so can’t comment, but he had a penalty late on against Clare in 2004 in Croke Park after Frank Lohan pulled him down when straight through on goal and went for the safe option of the point, Tony Carmody scored a point to send the game to a replay a minute or two later

Seven fractures in his hand and tendon damage. Will be a couple of months before he is right at the least
