I wonder did Johnny ever whip his lad out in front of some thick ankled country girl and ask her * do you fancy a blow on Johnny Carrollâs golden trumpet?"
I donât think Tipp will live with Galway between the 45s. Their forwards are still sharp enough to do damage but Galway just look to be on a different level entirely this year. If little Colm Galvin could boss Maher and Breen then David Burke will make shit of them.
I donât know.
Only concern Iâd have is it might take galway 15 minutes to hit âchampionship paceâ after the 5 week break. Tipp forwards could have hit 3 goals by then.
I think that risk is overstated. The benefit of the qualifier route is that you have more games to hit your stride, so itâs probable that Tipp will take it up a level from the Clare game. But thereâs a chasm between what Galway have shown this year and what Tipp have. Galway will have so much possession that only a meltdown in front of the posts will beat them.
We are only going up for the day out and to make up the numbers. Nobody is going to stop this Galway team. We are in disarray. Some of the videos going around on whatsapp at the moment would make you wonder if our lads are even training anymore.
Galway by 10+ points. @caulifloweredneanderthal to drown his sorrows with 10+ pints and Pat MacDonaghâs finest cuisine
Huh?
Ye are ten points better than them, even if that happens thereâs only one winner
The only thing that will stop Galway is the Hype Train breaking down.
Or believing the hype!
Fake taxi Nenagh shtyle?
No reason to assume anything less than the last two years, should be the game of the championship with little between them. Galway might be marginally better than last year and Tipp not quite at last yearâs level (yet), but that wonât matter much on the day. Whichever set of forwards does the better job dogging their opposing backs and stopping good ball going into their forwards will win.
On the plus side we outplayed them the last two years, Callinan kept them in it in 2â15 and key injuries did for us last year. The problem is we had already been sharpened by matches against a still functioning kilkenny, we have not had a real test this year. Donoghue is shrewd enough to have them thought out, he essentially did last year. But the favourites tag never sits easy and they are the only team more free scoring than us. At least canning should be fit for this. A full blooded display and we should do them, nervousness especially at the back and they could kill us with goals.
Could you impression a little girl who has lost her teddy any better? I think not.
You need a plus 85 IQ to contribute in this thread pal, sorry
Tipp cunts trying to play the poor mouthâŚ
Ah, shure weâre notorious for flopping in our sophomore year (heâll spend ages looking up sophomore).
We havenât won a 2 in a row since Elvis was in his prime (insert Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Cork chanting for Christy Ring in 1966, the year Tipp dominance in Munster ended forever)
This will be close, trust me.
They are not in the slightest bit entertaining when doing so. âshur weâll get beat by 20 pointsâ âshur the lads arenât even trainingâ witless banality
Shure theyâre all gone on the granny porn circuit.
