Very notable that so many young voters have backed Sinn FĂ©in. The University Professor nerd on RTE said theyâre coming in the front door as others exit through the back one (old, nearly dead FG and FF backers).
Iâve stated more than once that I think the party could do with new leadership based on the amount of baggage associated with Gerry. He is the greatest Irishman of his generation and this will be fully recorded in time, but right now the mud slinging and one-upmanship that Irishâ politics thrives on means Gerry is an easy target⊠I see him being instrumental in driving the party forward.

WILLY TOP IN LIMERICK FROM WHAT I HEAR. Clare daily topping . Dr james ryan in trouble
Itâs a very interesting one from a strategic point of view, especially if thereâs another election in 2016. If the media/establishment play the âGerry was in the RAâ card so comprehensively again then I can it backfiring on them and actually benefitting Sinn FĂ©in.

Surprising news from Kildare North
Emmet Stagg could be a high profile casualty of this yearâs General Election, if early votes are anything to go by. The outgoing Labour TD is being usurped by by his running mate, Bernard Durkan, who is performing well so far.
Staggâs loss could be Frank OâRourkeâs gain, who is polling well around Kilcock, Maynooth and Prosperous. Catherine Murphy is polling strongly as expected, while James Lawless is also getting a sizeable proportion of the votes thus far.
yes I have stated that to you
