Iâm not sure what the other option the Labour party had. At that stage the country was on its knees, are the hard-left suggesting that Labour should have just refused to go into gov?
the days of so called left parties propping up right wing governments are over
The pensioners in Galway were âaggrievedâ at their treatment by this gov. I thought pensioners basically suffered no cut over the last 7-8 years from either of the past two govs?
How do you think itâll finish up buddy?
If thatâs the case, itâs hard to see when the left get back into a position to do anything. SF are organised but the rest of the left is all over the place, and wouldnât be able to agree a name of a party let alone a coherent grouping. Pure ideologies and egoâs to beat the band but not much in the way of an ability to do the deals, even with themselves, that would get them into government.
all signs point to a 32 county socialist republic within 10 years
Pensioners are always aggrieved regardless.
Hartys transfers should go to sinn fein. Would be great to see that little blueshirt bollix Carey out on his ear
