Fianna fucking Fail. The reason your grandkids that you’ve never met are in Canada and Australia. The reason your son lost his job and his house. The reason your neighbour was found in the river. The reason you lost your life savings on eircom shares. The reason your wife spent her last days on a trolley in a crowded hospital corridor.
You utter idiots

I now think one of the FGs will catch Trevor O’Clochartaigh of SF in Galway West. Not certain however.

I don’t expect Kathryn Reilly will be elected in Cavan Monaghan but if she could somehow get ahead of Niamh Smyth she could then overtake Joe O’Reilly. Odds strongly against however.

Paul Hogan polled well in Longford Westmeath but I think he’ll be caught by FG2.

Just wondering has Kathleen Lynch (LAB) still got a squeak of a chance in Cork North Central? If she got ahead of Julie O’leary (which she will) off SF transfers, could she beat Dara Murphy (FG) to the last seat, Is it possible FG could transfer more to LAB than themselves? Probably not but you never know.

Dublin Bay North is completely unpredictable. Think SF will get one but you wouldn’t know how the last seat will go. It could even be Averil Power.

labour vote important to FF IN KERRY

Eamon Ryan now has 1228 of a surplus to distribute in DBS while Eoghan Murphy (FG) has 163 to distribute.

The gap from Kate O’Connell to Kevin Humphreys (LAB) is 473.

I think that gap will be closed significantly with the distribution of those surpluses but expect O’Connell will survive. Would expect Ryan to transfer well to Humphreys however.

H’on Gerry.

Who’s the bird doing the analysis on rte with dobbo? She’d be my first preference.

GET OFF THE TV IT IS SLAMP:eyeglasses:

When does Gerry think SF will overhaul the established parties if he could not when there’s been the biggest swing against the establishment parties in the history of the State?

Scratch that. Surpluses are 847 and 82 respectively. O’Connell is safe barring a statistical freak.

YOUR NOT GOING TO BE IN POWER SAY IT GERRY:eyeglasses:

It’s a long game, mate and will take another generational change. FG/FF support is declining at every election. Generational wastage will eventually do for Fianna Gael.

Thats a quality rant

Are you sure Fagan?
If they position themselves correctly, they could very easily swallow up labour and persuade a few like minded independents and FFers to join up.

About ten years… There’s still enough rural simpletons that will vote FF/FG as we have seen…Sinn Fein are keeping their young vote and those who voted 5 years ago have stayed on board and we’ve added more young voices this time around… As the old simpletons who are stuck in their ways die off, we will inherit the keys to paradise…
here we go again we’re on the road again
we’re on the road again we’re on the way to paradise
we love the jungle deep. that’s where the lion sleeps
for then those evil eyes they have no place in paradise

Gerry and his comrades in sf ira are opposition politicians.

They’d be afraid of their shit to have to be proactive and decisive and responsible for anything.
