Its a pity your hometown malahide managed to elect their own personal blueshirt.

You’re a vicious bastard… I certainly want you on my side next time out.

Seamus Healy very lucky, Seamie Morris saved his bacon on transfers.

All in all FG will be sick but although without a seat too, SF must be happy with how Morris did. Geographically him being from Nenagh makes garnering votes further South in the County extremely difficult.

Whose that midget provo in cork?

O’Dea is an embarrassment

Ged Nash 1250 behind Fitzpatrick (FG) in Louth - but 6000 AAA votes still have to be distributed. Could have an outside chance of saving himself.

Imelda Munster hasn’t yet been elected however which will likely do for him.

The man is a psychopath

If there is another election soon it’ll be some craic as all parties target those close run seats, lots for all parties to get their strategists on.

There’s a man who is gonna go out and drink 15 pints of stout and go home and give his wife an awful riding. Shirt and tie will remain on throughout the whole ordeal

5 years is a long time. However, by then I’ll be filthy rich and have plenty of time on my hands so pencil me in.

In fairness your man O Broin should be in the faces you’d love to smack thread.

He has no tact at all, tellling lies here to beat the band. They should be asking him if he’ll resign if they do an about turn on his promises.

I think one of the real winners of this election is St Michaels College of Ballsbridge increasing their number of TDs to 3 with Murphy (FG), Boyd-Barrett (PBP) and O’Broin (SF).

What are their policy positions on state subventions of private school fees ?

Thought Murphy and O’Broin were Rock boys?

Probably, but this is Sinn Féin in a nutshell. Criticise others for welcoming the Brtis/solidifying partition when they go down the exact same road themselves, just some years later. The above was populism at its best. SF’s “principles” said they shouldn’t meet the Royals in 2011 and after they realised what a huge political mistake it was. A year later Martin is welcoming her and a couple of years later Gerry is shaking Charles’s hand. Paul Murphy is right about SF, they will throw away their principles for power.
