Doherty and O’Broin have been delivering Tour de Frances across the different debates. Louise / Lorraine O’Reilly has held her own on health too. The Sinn Féin front bench is strong compared to their opponents, albeit they have a few headbangers in the ranks too.
Matt Carthy will be a tremendous addition too.
Is Lynn Boylan running anywhere in the election?
Can you tell me anything about Denise Mitchell? I would like to give SF my first preference as I think O’Broin and Doherty are men of high calibre and would like to see them get ministries.
He should have a walk around the Vatican, plenty inequality there for him to tackle.
Dion Fanning @dionfanning
She is a visionary although Hugh misrepresents what she is saying
The cost of living is the main issue with regards to houses being unaffordable. O’Broinn seems to be the only one to raised this point so far.
FG’s answer to addressing the cost of living issue is to increase the minimum wage. It’s so fucking stupid and lazy.
FF and FG are putting forward policies that encourage and facilitate inflation and do little to tackle the problem.
Advocating for the abolition of the State and for it to be replaced with “devolved communities organising themselves”.
Did I miss the bit where she “Advocated for the abolition of the State and for it to be replaced with “devolved communities organising themselves””

I haven’t seen sight nor sound of her since moving to the constituency and haven’t received any literature from her in the post. The likes of Aodhan O’Riordain and Catherine Noone are constantly dropping leaflets / bullet-ins in the letter box.
Over on the election betting thread @Juhniallio and @Rocko think she’s a shoo-in to be elected, aided by left wingers or supposed left wingers Tommy Broughan and Finian McGrath retiring. The lads say she’s a big support base in the Artane area.
She had a running mate the last time in that Michael Mac Donnacha chap and they actually had pre election hopes of returning two seats but they barely got one in the end. I’m not sure if she’s the SF spokesperson on any topic but she doesn’t have the profile of some of her colleagues.

Michael is an alright sort, I have met him a couple of times in the area. A gaeilgeoir, think he lives somewhere in Kilbarrack
… There’s a major issue in Waterford and the South East over the cardiac unit in UHW that operates from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday only. Halligan was elected based on the promise to sort it out, it never happened of course and the knives were out for him. SF seems to have a bit of support in Waterford
she stood with this, got in and did fuck all. It’s an unbelievable situation for the south east that has literally caused the death of people who had heart attacks outside of 9-5 Mon-Fri. Having to travel to either Cork or Dublin because Waterford doesnt operate outside of these times.
SINN Féin will not ask retiring TDs, including former leader Gerry Adams, to give back any of their pension entitlements - but has promised to reduce retirement payments to future TDs and Ministers.
The indo are some bunch of cunts. Has Leo or Michael been asked the same question?
Politician pensions are a fucking scandal. For all parties.

They surely are, to be fair the Shinners have strongly argued against the massive salaries & pensions consistently for as long as I can remember
Especially when you see TDs who only got elected from 2010 onwards getting huge pensions when anyone else who entered the public service after the bust is on a hugely inferior pension than those who were on the old deals.
Inflation in Ireland is less than 1%, and hit a low of 0.5% in July, well below the EU average of ~2%. Whatever issues Ireland has, inflation isn’t one of them.
High cost of living and rising inflation levels is not good.
A shitty ministerial role and it skyrockets.
