I have one fact for you. Ireland doesn’t have the highest number of immigrants in Europe. Not this year and certainly not for a number of years as you falsely claimed. To claim this fact as true and then describe it as the 'elephant in the room ’ with regards to the homeless crisis is racist. That makes you a racist.

Ireland had the highest percantage increase of immigrants from 95 to 2019. Highest levels of increase per capita. Requiring more houses and services. Which the government never kept pace with. Thats what im saying.

Yeah - but some high profile figures are, there is certainly not much evidence of regret beyond that which the party feels it needs to make for PR reasons and there is a continued legitimate question as to where actual control/policy is set. You may dismiss it all you want but it still makes a significant amount of voters here quite uneasy.
My own thoughts is that a stint in gov would soften the cough of some of SF a good bit as it would turn out it’s one thing pointing out problems, an entirely different thing to fix them

i’ve umpteen posts on the northern conflict - i’ve never excused any killings, but i’ve also never isolated one particular participant as the root cause of all of it. The IRA/SF was two men and a dog in 1969 ---- the next 20 years will tell an awful lot as more and more evidence clearly shows that the British security forces drove a lot of the conflict and carried out a number of illegal killings — but you and others can once again over look state terrorism as its men in suits behind it.
and i’m not justifying any 'retaliation ’ either — it was an insane period.
