In my honest opinion, he isn’t misrepresenting her words any more than everyone else is.
He was elected for FF in 2007, he left the party in 2011 and ran as an IND in every election since.
Spot on.
I think there was even hassle over him getting that nomination to stand. HQ wanted another candidate I think.
No
Great man for Apple Tart is Mattie.
Marc MacSharry. Fianna Fáil from Sligo on Ivan Yates now. Jesus he comes across as an absolute cunt. Lecturing tone of voice.
senior football and sailing metaphors in an silly affected accent with a very. Slow. Deliberate. Delivery.
Richard Bruton seems reasonable in comparison to him
Leo is gerrymandering
but in a typical FG way hes managed to fuck it up: the people who are likely to be left out are young new additions who would possibly fall for his all syle no substance approach and who would now be able to vote as hes called the election for a saturday
Yeah, why is this cunt trying to disenfranchise me?
Seriously though I bought an apartment in Dublin last year but didn’t register my vote so now it looks like I’ll be stuck voting in Monaghan, if at all. Trump-like behaviour from Leo, I can’t understand his motivation.
as usual leo thinks hes smart and Machiavellian. hes about as Machiavellian as benny from crossroads
No, he won’t do well out of the young vote. FG get just over 10% of 18 - 25 year olds. That’s way below their average. It absolutely suits FF and FG to appeal to older voters and that’s always been the case.
but judging from the way has begun to date, it would appear that leo thinks he will appeal to the yoof vote on the basis of trendy socks, @Kylie_fan girling, the 8th and the marriage referendum, unfortunately for him they are least likely to fall for pravda RTE and the broadsheets
Simon Coveney has election posters up already in Ringaskiddy. Leo held back so they could get the prime locations.
I’m voting for Frank Grimes in that case, though Hank Scorpio has his charms also
Have the Green party put forward any ideas this year other than releasing wolves back into the Irish landscape?
Which ring is he selling?
That’s a great idea, didn’t know they’d proposed that, I’ll give them a vote for it if Leo let’s me have one.
