No :
The problem with FG that I overlooked earlier is that Harris hasnât reached the quota and thus the FG transfers will be split between the two standing FG candidates
Ah yeah but they lost Doherty, oâ connel, mmoc and you can throw Maria Bailey in there which gives them ten.
Jennifer Murnane OâConnor is vehemently anti choice and zealously religious.
Yeah - Donnelly will definitely be safe. Question is whether the Green candidate will hang on
Serious question, which of coppingerâs policies, statements or actions do you disagree with?
Harris will get there but he has polled disastrously on transfers.
Haughey safe now. Healy is dead only to wash him.
Its a catch 22 for SF, stay out and build up candidates and they could be in a great position left wing coalition wise in a few years.
But if the economy/housing improves most might be happy enough and SF might have to wait a decade.
Yesterday was an extraordinary event, it was a real fuck you to the establishment, when you see yer one in clare going from 385 votes to 10k, and the young lad in galway east. It was like the fuck you the electorate gave in the presidential election giving casey votes. Will that SF vote maintain? Obviously SF should have run more candidates yesterday but no one saw that. Will running more splinter them against a shrewder chastened FFG
Pat the Cope imithe
SF 37
FF 37
FG 35
Martin will have to go lads. Heâs been destroyed
Fianna FĂĄil will get 7 of the 45 seats in Dublin. In the 5 constituencies across the three bordering counties of Meath. Kildare and Wicklow, no seat in Meath West, only got a seat in Kildare South courtesy of eeturning Ceann Comhairle and a Major battle to scrap the last seat in Wicklow. Throw in the two other constituencies in the eastern seaboard, both 5 seaters, 1 in Wexford and none in Louth. Thatâs 74 of the 160 seats, nearly half and they have 12, down to 11 if Donnelly doesnât make it in Wicklow.
Itâs roasters giving them two seats in the likes of Carlow/Kilkenny, Laois/Offaly, Cork North West, Cavan/Monaghan and maybe Westmeath/Longford and Sligo/Leitrim that are keeping the numbers up.
Theyâre not getting 2 seats in Longford Westmeath or Sligo Leitrim.
They have been destroyed in Connacht and Leinster overall.
Itâs the roasters in Munster where they have held their own.
Who are the farmers voting for these days FF?
Depends on the size and location of the farm
No wonder Alan Mangan got no go in Westmeath.
Wasnât he the lad who was fucked out over the sideline like a loaf of bread that time?
I think Boxer Moran will hang on. It would take a big swing from Carrigy FG to do him in. Looks like no Longford TD again. Moran leads Flaherty FF by 993. 6981 transfers at play. Despite the Longford bias I donât think it will be enough.
Also great to see Ruth Coppinger gone after her disgraceful treatment of Dela at the Oireachtas

No. Particularly if an election is called in the next 6/8 weeks. The only downside would be for the smaller left parties and the left independents. They would go down the pecking order in terms of transfers as sf supporters would give their nu 2 to a running mate. But it could mean sf returning north of 50 seats which could well leave them capable of putting a government together with Mary Lou at the helm. Sf really have nothing to lose and more to gain if another election is called relatively quickly
