General Election 2020 Part 2

People are probably thinking itā€™ll be much worse than it will be. Thatā€™ll lead them to think Leo done a good job. 10k cases by the end of March etc.

The Seanad was dissolved yesterday i think so new legislation cannot be debated and passed to the Seanad until a government is formed.

That might put a drive on things with regards forming a government.

They have the hearts of the country

Well be so up to our bollox in debt after this we might as well keep borrowing and iron out a few glaring social issues.

AFAIK the constitution doesnā€™t specify a time and weā€™re far less than the last dail. Also, at any time the Dail can remove him by electing a new Taoiseach

However, legal advice would suggest that the ability of the gov and dail to approve new legislation is now uncertain at best and in the context of the crisis, thatā€™s what might precipitate action now

Itā€™s incredible that the three right leaning leaders who didnā€™t take this seriously initially are now growing in support. Shows the importance of spin and how dumb most people are.

Iā€™m fine mate, thanks for enquiring. Toddle off there to the tan thread and leave this thread to the micks.

SF IRA public meetings were going on when we knew this was an issue. Blood on their hands.

Mary Lou La only postponed them after a confirmed case at her childā€™s school.

unlike you lot, we went and cancelled meetings to save lives. We didnā€™t stand back and wait for instruction from the Italian government.

The damage was done when the meetings were cancelled. The egos in SF IRA have cost lives.

Leo Leo Leo

Not one case led back to a political meeting buckoā€¦keep swinging

Sinn Fein would be better off staying silent. Every time they open their mouth they make Fine Gael more popular.

correct.

Thatā€™s it in a nutshell.

We acted ahead of the the likes of the UK given what appears to be their clusterfuck (non) approach.

But behind other countries like, say, New Zealand who locked down after 200 cases and 0 deaths.

It remains to be seen what was the right thing to do.

An awful attemptā€¦ Everything SF have suggested Leo did a werk later. Theyā€™re a week ahead of FG on this crisis from the off. Except on photo ops and spin. FG way out in front there.
