General Election 2020 Part 2

Ireland called and Eamon Ryan answered

There was a strip of grass down the middle of one of the roads, so I guess you could call it that.

Michael McGrath, Barry Cowen

Calleary, McGrath, One of Jim O Callaghan/Darragh O Brien for Dublin. Anne Rabbitte possibly for gender balance.

O Brien will get housing.

He fancies himself for big things in FF. In fairness he is one of their better performers although the bar is low and he had a free shot with the shitshow Murphy was doing in housing.

This is a victory for party democracy

I think FF see housing as their chance to reform their reputation. They see themselves as the original architects of social housing, and unlike health, it’s a solvable problem for them.

He knocked on my door a year back for the local elections canvassing his brother. He was decent to chat to although his brother was a dick. He quickly decifered I wasn’t a native of the area. I told him I was from Tipperary originally. He quickly passed on his sympathies about our loss at the weekend. I said i didn’t know what he was talking about as Tipp weren’t playing. He then went into some Leinster rugby chant. It was easy enough pick my number 9 preference for the local elections after that.

FG reportedly getting the big 3 of Finance, Foreign Affairs and Justice with FF getting health and Housing. They’ve mugged them off good and proper.

Your crowd Aontu could have been in as well if they had won more than 1 of the 160 seats in the General Election. You’ve just got to go away and do a bit better in the next election.

Shut up, fascist.
