Gigs coming up

Clapped out heritage acts from the 90s.

With the exception of Courtney, who was at best in the school choir in the late 90s

The missus got tickets for Elton John earlier. When I was told how much they cost I couldnā€™t believe it.

That said I saw him three years ago and I thought he was brilliant, and I wouldnā€™t have been a fan at that point.

Beck?

I see cardi b is playing longitude. Thereā€™s a few lad on here who would be fans Iā€™d say. @Tassotti

Yepā€¦staying forever young kid. Thinking of doing Glasto for the big 4-0 in 2019.

I get you a pair of slippers for your upcoming milestone this year.

Has he done anything of note since Odelay?

Beck was one of the dullest artists of the 90s. Most of his tunes appeared to be a variation of one poor one

No pal.

Iā€™m going to the stereophonics 2 nights before (free ticket) but hopefully Iā€™ll make it down for Perry. Arkology is something else

I saw him in the Academy a couple of years ago.

Have you listened to Arkology?

No

You should. Its an unreal compilation with dub mixes added in.

His album from just a few months ago is great, so was the one before that from a couple of years ago.

Mutations was great I thought. Mellow gold and One Foot in the grave (pre Odelay were top notch)

Midnite Vultures had its moments.

His post 2000 output for me has been patchy, although I didnā€™t listen to that one a few years back that won the Grammy. Sea Change had some great songs too and heā€™s a fine live act
