Myself and mrs Barnes went to see Lisa O Neill in The Gate last night. Great gig in a gorgeous venue. We had food in Day and Night on Denmark st before hand. Lovely sushi and Ramen.

She does a nice gig, mix of storytelling and song

. That bit reminded me of Kate Bush a little. She’s a good storyteller and has a nice self deprecating sense of humour which is no harm because most of the songs are dark.
She’s amazing. Massively underappreciated.
