Was a few feet behind a tree and tried to pass through a narrow gap to the fairway only to drive it into the bark of the tree and almost decapitate himself with the ricochet

Fighting hard. Was -2 at one stage after 9 but made a double on 10. Good drive on 15 on the Par 5. -1 would be a super score if he could manage it.
