That’s pretty much it. Mickey did 16 years but seems to be a father figure in the london underworld now though he spends a lot of time in Spain.
Yeah, it did lag a bit in the middle but finished strong. I enjoyed the all the backstories all the same.
I didn’t think that was possible.
I read for a while every night before going asleep. It really helps to slow the mind down. Audiobooks have been a gamechanger for me too. I’d listen in the gym, doing housework and in the car.

Stating the obvious here but choosing the right book is the most important thing. Struggling through a book your not enjoying is a fools errand and can turn you off.
It’s a habit. Make it something you do at a set time every day… be very careful tho. A lot of lads on here started casually like that and now they read endless reams of chick lit.

Put your phone away as early as you can before you go to bed, don’t have it in the bedroom
Don’t stay up just to watch shite on television if you’d rather be a reader.
It’ll help you sleep better as well.
Choose carefully because you might be the type to persevere even when you’re not enjoying it

This is a very good book. Spools back to the time of celebrity terrorists, Carlos the Jackal, the Baader Meinhoff gang, Black September, Leila Khaled. Deals with the Munich Olympics, Entebbe, Mogadishu, the US Embassy bombing in Beirut. Deals with the waning of leftist revolutionary violence and the rise of Islamic terror. Finishes up with the Iranian revolution and the radicalisation of Osama Bin Laden.
A great read. Solid 9/10.

This book is beautiful, like all his books. I think he’s an absolutely singular writer.
You’d miss the good honest celeb hijackers with an ideology. Your average tick tock hijackers these days aren’t the slightest bit inspiring
