Die Hard stands alone.

Nobody, the first 3 Die Hards are untouchable in the action genre.
“Hello, Travel Lodge? I’d like to make a booking for today please…”

I’ll be down tomorrow gawjus.
First two maybe. First definitely. Right up with Tremors.
Tremors,
Die Hard with a Vengeance is an excellent film tbf, obviously Die Hard 1 stands alone though.

12 years in the making and over 2 and half hours of watching but went by like a light breeze. From the same lad who made Dazed and Confused and the Before Sunset trilogy. If you like them you’ll love this, otherwise probably best to give it a miss. Although his stall is well and truly set out at this stage Linklater is the most daringly ambitious and also the most reassuring film-maker out there today[/QUOTE]
Just watched Boyhood, mate. I really loved it. I thought it was wonderful, absolutely splendid. I actually feel happy now thinking about it.
Just watched Nightcrawler. It does not belong in this thread.
Fantastic film in fairness.
A very disappointing film
The Godfather is on Channel 4.
I watched the first 45 minutes of Ikiru the other day. Stopped watching it as it was a bit depressing but it seemed really good.
Went to see Birdman earlier, decent movie.
Ed Norton and Michael Keaton are excellent in it.
Watched The Proposition last night, brilliantly violent film from Nick Cave.
Finally got around to Argo last night. Best film I’ve seen in ages
Gravity- meh.
Penguins of Madagascar
Nicholas, cage him.
Nice lesson too that looking good is important to how people react to you.
