Battlefield Earth is awful.
It’s a grand yarn. Probably not worth a rake of oscars but not a terrible movie… But the Oscars are only about movie promotion anyway. The Golden Globes have far more artistic merit.
When you look at all the results you’ll see they only got an average share of the prizes.
They shared them around the main contenders.
The Oscars will make or break it.
The Globes are a joke.
Banshee wont be made or broken by any awards, its tipping away nicely. The directors and Actors Guild Awards will tell a lot.
