Good Fillums

No. He’s a six day ultra pc champagne socialist who knows his kebabs. On the seventh day he’s a fervent sectarian Sellick fan.

Magnum PI was a great show.

I thought the diner scene was superb. One of the best scenes in the film for me.

Ignore this buffoon. If you liked Sixth Sense and more importantly, Unbreakable, stop what you’re doing and watch Split this instant.

That’s a rather silly comment Turenne. It’s just a really, really shit film, no more or less.

I was subjected to Allied last night, woegious stuff. Brad Pitt looks fair shook these days.

How in god’s name is it a really shit movie?

I’m getting the impression Fitzy thinks everything is shit.

It’s just a bloody awful film. Full of clichés, rips off about a hundred other “horror” films, the acting is awful, the script is primary school stuff. I’m sure if you’re 15 at the flicks with your mates it might be interesting, but I just thought it was a godawful film.

I have very high cinematic standards and think most films are shit.

…a ‘cliched’ horror film? You understand that its a surrealist portrayal of the African American situation in America right?

The stealing of black people from their homes (aka slavery) to work for white masters?

The brainwashing of the black people in the movie to make them subservient to their white masters?

The obsession of white Americans with the ‘physical’ ability of blacks that leads them to ignore all other possible qualities?

The subtle tension between what is our ‘real’ reality (if there is one) or the reality that is being forced upon us?

Imagine actually sitting down and watching a movie and then not having the slightest fucking clue what it was all about?

Christ, you’re treating it like it’s some sort of landmark Kubrick film, a milestone in cinematic and cultural history. It’s a god awful b grade horror flick.

…it isn’t supposed to be seen as a horror film you halfwit. If you were a reviewer and termed the movie as a b grade horror and compared it to Scream, or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you’d be fired because you’ve completely missed the point of the film. Its a work of social criticism, something anyone with a double digit IQ would understand.

I’m sorry. It’s a god awful b grade commentary on social inequality and racial prejudice masquerading as a horror flick.

You have to remember he lives in Australia.

There wasn’t one really scary scene … this genre has been done to death but you’ll always get teenagers who will buy into it.

Sully is an unbelievable film, Tom Hanks best performance since the shawshank redemption , Its based on a true story

The scene at the end with all the families was a real poignant moment.

Jesus “A GOOD YEAR” is an unreal film, Russell Crowe’s best performance since “Gladiator” without a shadow of a doubt, I broke down crying at the scene at the end when he rekindled his relationship with Fanny

Tom Hanks wasn’t in The Shawshank Redemption.

But it was based on a true story right?

Top marks there for trying…
