Tony has had O’Neill’s measure from Day 1.

Tony asked the questions everyone else was afraid to ask. He’ll be around for a good while yet.

What exactly was his question. He listed poor results

He asked if tonight was an embarrassment, which is was. That was the start of the seethingness.

What other questions mate. That’s a woeful question btw

Who was afraid to ask them ?

MON shoukd have said ‘Yes Tony, but not as bad as what you did to your wife’.

Tony referenced Trapattoni falling on his sword after a 1-6 defeat to Germany at the end of a qualification campaign. That seemed to completely drive Grumpy O’Neill over the edge.

Any video ffs if it lads

Thanks mate but I didn’t ask what he referenced

  1. Why take off 2 midfielders at half time?
  2. Why leave us exposed with them off?
  3. Would you say it was a humiliation?
  4. Its hard to come back from a defeat like this isn’t it?
  5. The final question was a statement which implied the question that our home results were the downfall of the campaign and had we not lost the lead on some occasions or made a mess of some relatively winnable games then maybe we wouldn’t have ended up in a playoff in the first place.

Most other journos I’ve seen interview him
