One more leg for barney and it would have been interesting
Van Gerwen beats Jenkins 10-4
[QUOTE=“Sandymount Red, post: 1044540, member: 1074”]As the two BDO gimps exit the stage to head back to the obscurity of their circuit, a new name arrives on the scene in big time darts.
PDC world youth champion Keegan Brown put in a sensational performance to dump Barney out. The Isle of Wight native had two darts to win 10-3, then Barney staged a terrific late fightback before the young tyro took out a 122 on the bull to record a stunning 10-7 victory.
A star is born.

If the Segundas future is anything like the PDCs we have a great future ahead!
A poor game it has to be said.
First two 1/4 finals are
MVG V Kim Huybrechts
Keegan Brown V Dave Chisnall
Tomorrows round of 16 games are
Phil Taylor V Peter Wright
Michael Smith V Christian Kist
Mervyn King V Gary Anderson
Stephen Bunting V James Wade
Jenkins just completely gave up from about the 12th leg. Shocking stuff. Van didn’t score well either.
Michael Smith wins 10 of the last 12 legs to beat Christian Kist 10-5.
I think this Smith lad is a future World Champion
Disappointing from Kist. He’s really struggled to bridge the gap since he’s made the huge leap up to the PDC. A 1/4 final appearance would have done his confidence the world of good, but all those missed darts at double 16 when he was 5-4 down (I think) cost him dear. You can’t get away with that at this level.
Mervyn King beats a out-of-sorts Gary Anderson 10-4, he’ll face the winner of the Wade V Bunting tie in the 1/4 final.
Phil Taylor beats Peter Wright 10-4
Wade vs Bunting up next.
Phil Taylor comes back from being 3-2 down at the first interval to beat Peter Wright 10-4.
Bunting surges into a 5-2 lead, very impressive stuff.
Bunting takes out a 114 to take a 9-7 lead, top notch stuff
Wade counters with a 164 checkout with Bunting poised to take the match, unreal, unbelievable.
Bunting holds his nerve to win 10-8, a superb performance from the Scouser, he looks right at home at the top table in darts. As predicted by @fenwaypark

I see this guy has decided to try and make the huge step up and is joining the PDC in January. He’ll need to keep playing like that if he is to crack the top 50 in the world. Is there anyone left in the BDO now Sidney?
when is the big one at the Lakeside starting?
Robbie Green was finding it increasingly difficult to maintain the type of fitness required for the BDO circuit.
