Watched Once Upon a Time in the West there again recently. The opening scene of the three hired shooters waiting for the train to kill Harmonica up until his arrival and their confrontation. Fantastic.
There are a few powerful scenes in that film, the opening scene being one of them. The boredom of the hit men was gripping to watch.
Then there was the scene in the bar with Cheyenne and Harmonica (and Max from heart to heart behind the bar)

Apparently he wanted the 3 boys from The Good the Bad and the Ugly for the opening scene, to kill them off to show there wouldnât be another in the series and that this would be his last western, and to show how awesome Harmonica was. Needless to say he couldnât get the actors. Good thing too, would have been a horrible way to kill those guys off, especially Clint.
