“A Workplace Relations Committee (WRC) hearing involving a high-profile Kerry solicitor and a former employee, who claims she was unfairly dismissed, commenced last Friday.
The complainant, Ms Bernadette Cronin, is taking a case against the respondent, Mr Patrick Mann of Patrick Mann & Company Solicitors, Ashe Street, Tralee, where Ms Cronin was hired as a litigation solicitor from March 2020.
Only evidence from Ms Cronin was heard at Friday’s meeting which was ‘vehemently disputed’ by Mr Mann’s barrister, Mr Michael McCormick. The hearing resumes in a few weeks.”
