I did indeed. I had a great night. I was working in Kilkenny at the time and thumbed a lift to Waterford to see the gig. Thankfully that left me late enough to miss the opening act, local new romantic band, the Village. It also meant that I was too late for the mosh pit and I spent the evening on the balcony from where I got a great view of proceedings. If it had been 35 years later I could have insta-ed the fuck out of it but instead I just had to stand back and enjoy the show.
