6 went to hospital, but all in the pub again by Sunday evening.
TBH there’s been many a Junior B game that has seen more than 6 lads finish in hospital.

As a local doctor quipped one Saturday evening when 5 lads came into the surgery from the junior hurling match “jesus lads, were ye all in the one car”
There were 4 still in Hospital on Monday according to my source.
One of the lads just died, never regained consciousness. The irish have an awful problem with the drink
I’ve played Junior B games in Hospital that finished with the full 30.
