Dalcash Scolari (4/1) beaten 3/4 of a lenght by Fear Zafonic (4/7). Incredible that there was no betting available for Doncaster from Betfair or the main players, considering all the open races and big names on the cardā¦
I think blue square were taking bets at sp, but none of the big guys were taking bets, mad stuff.
Pure ludicrous stuff. Iād expect it from the big players but iām very disappointed with Betfair in all this. I mean weāre talking here about open class racing featuring some of the biggest names on the UK scene. No wonder the fucking thing is on its knees over there.
Ballymac William wins the Ladbrokes Puppy Derby from Monmore in a brilliant 28.16. What is it about the English tracks that such fast times can be clocked over 480? A 28.16 would break track records up and down the country here, and weāre supposed to have a better class of dog here.
Trainers championship next Tuesday night.
Gold Cup Saturday night, is it a shoot out between Da Hatter and Joker, or can De Ex Factor pick them up on the way home⦠he can, but will he pass them⦠the cunt.
Iād nearly open an account with Bet365 just to have some of that 7/2 they are offering on Da Hatter to win the Tote Gold Cup. A huge price IMHO. I would have him no more than 9/4 in the bettingā¦
Just seen the results from Tralee tonight in the semis of the big unraced classic, the clocks seem unbelievably slow for some reason. Pat Buckleyās big money purchase, sizzling rambler, went crashing out as well.
The clocks look poor alright, no dog getting under 29seconds. Poor at this stage.
The state of the card from the Markets Field tomorrow night, and it a Saturday night. Are you going?
No, Iāll watch Shelbourne & Cork at home, 2 decent cards on show there, I was going to head in but the line up wouldnāt inspire you to do much in there.
How are you going to watch Cork at home?
The supporting card for Shelbourne is somewhat disappointing, thereās a few too many graded races there for my liking. Last weeks supporting card was excellent it must be said.
Your thoughts on the Tote Gold Cup? Is De Ex Factor likely to move wide on the run-up or not? If he doesnāt then itās all set up for a smooth passage for the Jokerā¦
yeah, Iād say thereāll be a few big guns trialling before racing tomorrow night in Shelbourne, getting ready for the Easter Cup next weekend the supporting races themselves are lacking a bit of quality.
I must have a detailed look at the card tomorrow though, havenāt really formed a proper opinion on it yet.
Check your texts re watching Cork.
Are any of the participants for the Easter Cup known at this stage? And closer to home what about the Produce stakes from Clonmel? Iāll take in a fair bit of that competition if it looks any goodā¦
SS** must have went over for Cheltenham. There hasnāt been a peep from him in daysā¦
i donāt think he went over. he was whinging about having to go to Down Royal on Paddyās Day
Been studying the Tote Gold Cup final card for a while this morning, I canāt see Da Hatter getting a run, too much early inside him, it could lead to a crowd of 3 or 4 hitting the bend together and some inevitable trouble, this should set it up for the outside 2. Thurlesbeg Joker has flopped at the business end of big comps in the past and I think heās a bit short to be backing on this occasion. I think I will go against all my better judgement and have a small bet on De Ex Factor @ 6s, Hennessy will surely have worked on him to try and straighten out his kinks during the week. He could find himself in front at the 3rd bend tonight, hopefully he wonāt drop anchor between there and the line.
Good luck with this theory. One thing is definite, itāll be an intriguing race. I just fear that something ridiculous like Castlehill Pat breaks quickest and there is absolute carnage behind him, allowing for a clear passage to the finish. That would be worst case scenario and not outside the realms of possibility. I wonāt be having any bet myself but if i had a Bet365 account iād be having a cut off that 7/2 Da Hatter. Thatās far too big a price for Da Hatter. Letās not forget Fane Basher in all this eitherā¦
Neilan and Histon to be on Frontline on Monday night to debate the dog breeding billā¦
Manaboutdog, TFKās top Greyhound tipster,
Just back from a few pints off the back of this glorious victory. I couldnāt get MAD out of the pub, We had a monkey each on it.
A true Master of the leash.
