This is where the nonsense ends up, and it isnât a good outcome for minorities or society in general.
Chicago has some of the best and worst high schools in America, like any US city but probably has more extremes than most. Itâs truly difficult for a child who is interested in learning to advance in a lower performing school, so years ago the city set up selective admission schools with entry based on testing. This has been an enormous success and benefit to minorities and kids from poorer backgrounds in general, there are now 11 of these schools including some of the best public schools in the country. Meanwhile the lower performing schoools are getting worse, even though enormous sums of money are being spent (on administration of woke culture programs of course, not more and better teachers).
The city are voting this week to shut down all 11 high achieving schools because they promote âinequityâ. The solution you see rather than trying to improve the lower performer schools is to get rid of the higher performing schools. Same logic as getting rid of higher level Math and science classes as they are racist.
The result will be more people leaving Chicago and more people sending their kids to private schools, and further deterioration in public schools. But a bunch of lunatic radical leftists get to feel good about themselves.

Racism and prejudice exist all over the world.
Creating a pyramid of privilege to teach kids is far more divisive than it is unifying. One group gets to feel guilty for being born white and another get to be victims because they are of colour.
The white males should just probably kill themselves altogether before they get a chance to grow up and poison the world.
There must be a hundred different ways to teach about racism and respect that doesnât enforce stereotypes. Are we really telling kids of colour that privilege is only for whites (males) and that they are disadvantaged? Itâs telling them from the off that society hates you and treasures whiteness.
I think race is being used instead of class here⌠The middle class lefty nut bags pushing this canât see that tonnes of whites (males) enjoy no privilege and an address of Moyross or Ballymun is stigmatized for all skin colours.
Tonnes more can be done to tackle racism for sure- but trying to label us privileged for being born white in a historically white country
