Heading to the cinema(moving picturehouse for those non Dubs)- any recommendations

Iā€™m taking my daughter to the cinema tomorrow.

Do I have to wear a mask throughout? It will make it really difficult to finish my popcorn during the trailers if so

Pretty dark in there, should go unnoticed

Going to see Robocop for 35th anniversary screening, uncut and in 4k on the big screen. Always take the opportunity to see the classics on limited showings.

Went to see 2001 Space Odyssey in the Lighthouse a few years back. A great experience. A movie made to be seen on the big screen.

Iā€™ve booked Top Gun Maverick for Friday evening

Must be nothing good in the cinema if theyā€™re playing movies from only a year ago. Will go see Banshees of Inisherin in 2 weeks time all the same.

Dont worry darling is decent saw it last week.

Might give this a watch with lady friend.

Signs up cinema saying itā€™s 16s and above only. Doesnā€™t matter if you are with an adult.

Harry Styles effect I guess.

Sheā€™ll enjoy it. A good flim.

Supposedly 3 hours long. Keeps the attention for the duration?

Yes. Didnā€™t seem like 3 hours at all. Well put together. Great performances

I approve of all the birds tarting themselves up for the Barbie movie. Great viewing

Oppenheimer is great, easily keeps the attention for its almost 3 hour length

Fogra: The IFI in Dublin now sells popcorn. While a handy source of income I fear itā€™s a backward step

Mate - they are about 12.

Iā€™d say I was one of about 8 males in attendance. Margot Robbie was looking well in her Barbie role. I see Piers Morgan has wound up the feminists by saying that the Kenā€™s were blaggarded.

Toddled along to see Saltburn tonight. Iā€™ve never subscribed to the fuss with Keoghan to date but he was very good in this. Rosamund Pike is a beautiful woman.

Itā€™s not a great movie. Too many scenes crowbarred in that donā€™t advanced narrative for shock Value. Having said that the nude dancing scene is iconic. Mad 2006 is now a period movie.

Keoghan has a quality. Heā€™s proper unsettling. That killing of a sacred deer heā€™s in heā€™d get in your head.
