Help with sports equipment

I was at the one in Belfast before. Got a few bits and pieces.

I’ve already advocated their trail running shorts, with all the pockets, on a number of occasions.

You ever get the ferry from algiceras or tarifa to North Africa?..

I keep meaning to but no… Love Tarifa tho - usually spend a night down there.

Spent 2 weeks down there … lovely spot.

A few years ago was over in Conil de la frontera. Great spot.

As good a place as any to ask seeing as I can’t go browse in the shops

Looking for a soccer ball for the kids to play with at lunchtime, they’re playing now n every break as there’s more ch more room on the yard
I need something that is soft enough that it won’t hurt too much if you get hit, it’s a mlxture of boys and girls, but still has a bit of zip for a decent game. It’s on tarmac

Am I asking too much? We have a soft (half flat) plastic ball at the moment and need an upgrade, all the balls below in the gym are leather or very hard plastic

The furry indoor soccer type ball would be the job?

I have one of them but it’ll get fucked up on the tarmac, cost me about 30 quid

We used to play with a rubber ball on the tarmac basketball court in the school. Why they built a basketball court when no one in the school played basketball is one of the great imponderables of life. It was a great job for tarmac but you’d get some KO if it smacked you in the face.
They were great games. You couldn’t score because the goals were the frame of the basketball net and there was always a fat lad in goals. The only way to score bar a magic top corner finish was to get it in close to the keeper and rolling maul it over the line kicking everything that moved. Glory days.

What you should get is a futsal ball. They won’t be able to get it off the ground

This yoke is for yards but it could be rock hard

The mix of footballing ability in this particular group is astounding though, I’m asking a lot, I can’t have girls going home with a broken nose but I still want them to have a decent game where they’ll all develop their skills to some degree,
I might look into a small futsal ball, maybe there’s one with a sponge outside?

Get a 290g ball for them maybe. It will break up but it’s better than getting a hard ball that will cause damage.

@flattythehurdler This still needed?

Futsal is absolutely ideal. Kind of levels out the skill levels and you can’t lash it
