I don’t know the ins an outs of it but I’d imagine signing Mbappé would make sense commercially for FSG especially with the Nike link. I’m not sure he’d be a Klopp type of player though, I think Timo Werner for less than half the price is a more realistic option

That’s fine Mike but I have to insist you are clearer in your language then. You initially stated he has barely spent any money which is clearly extremely misleading and just downright false. If you had stated that his net spend, when taking into account the money the club recouped during his time as Liverpool manager, is relatively low then that would be a true statement and I wouldn’t take issue with it.

It is not false. If he hadn’t sold Coutinho he wouldn’t have been able to buy Allisson. Klopp works under different constraints than the likes of City, United and Chelsea which makes his achievements all the more impressive.

Net spend liverpool have made a profit. Every team spends it’s what u bring in to balance the books hence financial fair play. City are in a mess united are worse living off plastic debt building all the time.
