Hibs v Celtic ☘

Burke has been much better down the right.

Brendan Rodgers you won’t be winning trophies anymore.

Is Jozo injured, guys?

It’s good that Edouard and Forrest and Burke can all play a couple of positions. Edouard has been poor (apart from that flick for Burke) but it’s great to be able to target different defenders with our pace etc

Bbbbbrrroooowwewnnnnnnnnn

Great take by Brown, Edouard should have squared it earlier.

Some thump of a finish.

Hibs didn’t bother coming back once Edouard didn’t take the first chance.

First goal

Second goal

Ceeellllllltttttttiiiiicccccccccc!

A much better performance tonight. Solid at the back and Brown and Bitton in control in midfield, don’t think our attack fired all that well tonight but Burke and Forrest had very good second halves.

Two fantastic goals tonight. I though we were very comfortable in the game and did well collectively. Stepped it up nicely after half time after they limited clear cut chances for in the first half.

I was watching from rural Monaghan on my phone via the eir sport app (surprisingly good broadband) so I couldn’t do it at the time but I’d like to type:

Foooooorrrrrrrreeeeeeessssssttttttttttttttt

Brrrrrrrooooooooowwwwwwnnnnnnnnnn

Did Burke get badly hurt at the end there or just a knock? Ankle ligaments? Precautionary with Boyata hopefully, Lennon mentioned yesterday he’d shaken off a knock from Wednesday night. Think we’ve no game midweek now for the first time since the winter break so a chance to recover.

Thought Bitton was good in the first half and then really good at pushing us forward after the break.

Burke’s injury was a concern but he seemed to be able to walk on it a bit. He’s had injury problems in the past hasn’t he?

Bitton’s displays in the last 3 games after being out injured for 14 months have been really good. He’s been very sharp.
