Hibs v Celtic ☘

That was very disappointing. Didn’t deserve to win with that performance and our form has caught up with us.

Thought Jota was lively and looked dangerous but nearly everyone else was poor. O’Riley was an improvement on Rogic and McGregor was ok. Hatate had a dreadful game. Surprised he wasn’t taken off for Guchi or someone.

O Riley looks a yard slow for the highest level to me. Jota was absolutely outstanding. Ran himself into the ground. Hatate I’d suspect is a bit homesick. He’s an outstanding player, but they’ve been thrown straight into the trenches. It’s hard.

I know it hurts mate but you have to put it aside and get refocused for il crunchio, the Ireland v Italy rugby match.

Other thing is every now and then, joe Harte needs to just belt it up the pitch rather than pass to a well covered defender.

In the first clash Bodo gave a template on how to frustrate Celtic , since then a late winner against a shite Dundee , a defeat in Norway and a draw agin Hibs … back to drawing board for Ange…

I completely get the frustration and it was audible today, but I’m happy we continue to do that. We need to invite teams on to us. We’re not good enough at passing it out yet but I’d still rather we failed at that and worked on improving that instead of playing it long and allowing them to settle into a deep line as everyone is comfortable with.

That’s all well and correct, but there’s an odd occasion when Lionel Messi would have played it long. It is equally predictable in its own way in any case, I’d argue. I love them playing it out from the back, but Allison just roots it occasionally when events demand.
