Holiday destinations for the accompanied traveller

The Cumberland at Marble Arch is hard to beat for location in London.

The Mercure at the Sorbonne would be good location wise in Paris.

Check out the Citizen M hotels in London. Or a Premier Inn (basic but very comfortable).

There is a Citizen M near Liverpool St station which is very handy in term of getting anywhere in London quick. The Central line is great. The rooms are small but fuck itā€¦how long do you expect to stay in a room in a city like that anyway.

The Premier Inn near Old Street tube is perfect too. Loads of decent restaurants around that area if you do your research.

Book a Street Art Tour. Your 15 old will probably love it.

@ciarancareyshurlingarmy what dates are you thinking for Croatia ā€¦ ? I might be doing a 5 night stay myself in June. Will I bring the white goalie jersey?

Pm sent

I stayed in the Premier Inn at Waterloo Bridge near @Balbec s Novotel. It was grand. Easy walk to Westminster and the Cabinet War Rooms which are well worth a visit.

How far out of Killarney is Hotel Killarney?
Iā€™m at a gathering in Tatler Jacks next month and am just looking for someplace to lay my head down and am wondering if itā€™s walking - staggering distance from the town center. Itā€™s a busy weekend and the town center hotels havenā€™t much on offer.

Youā€™ve some neck to come back here looking for hotel advice after your last episode.

In kilometers how far is that.
Thanks for the help btw.

Itā€™s the old quality hotel?? Probably a ten minute walk from the town, a massive hotel, bog standard.

A mile walking. Its a hostel more or less.

Citizen M is a good call but rooms are very small if sharing

The Hoxton in Holborn is worth a look - right beside Holborn tube on central and Piccadilly lines

The Killarney grand is the jobā€¦just around the corner from tatler jacks!

Think itā€™s booked out, any of the town centre ones are. Must be something on that weekend.

Heading to Da Nang (and Hue and Hoi An) in Vietnam this September. Staying in this place:

Anyone have any experience of this part of Vietnam?

looks absolutely amazing

Hi guys. I booked that Iceland (5 days) and Copenhagen (3 days) trip for next month. Iā€™m told that Reykjavik is no more than a 2-day job by the likes of @balbec so planning a little jaunt around the island. Could someone share their experience? Weā€™ll be looking to rent a car* but donā€™t think weā€™ll have time to do a full loop of the island. An acquaintance told us to go north for a day or two, come back to Reykjavik for a night and then south for a day or two. Any particular towns to visit? Iā€™d like someone to provide an itinerary and be as helpful as I was to @ciarancareyshurlingarmy when he went to Tuscany.

*My life partner will be looking to rent a car.

Okay guys. Ideally Iā€™d like to book this Iceland itinerary without having to research it myself.

PM me your card number, expiry date and cvv number and iā€™ll look after it for you
