Have done it twice in the past & looking forward to going again.

Kids loved it.

Sneem is a lovely spot too with nice eateries & couple of noble pubs too.

I’m envious now.

Don’t go down to that part of the world and not visit Derrynane.

Unreal spot

Great spot.

Ask about the lego and treasure hunt at reception. Lego class is an extra cost but my 2 loved it (8 and 6). Can be booked in advance on the website. CreativeKubs

Lots of families and kids. Make sure to get your kids to be extra loud in bar when the childless couples give you dirty looks. Id no sympathy for them. It is known as a hotel great for families and kids

Always presumed Parknasilla was an expensive enough hotel to stay in - €400-500 a night type place? Good few of ye going there. We must not have that many paupers here. Anyone going there make sure and go into Sneem a bit it’s a class little town. I’ve stayed in the town loads of times.

The hotel maybe that price yeah.
But they also have self catering lodges and villas (where we stayed). 3 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Loads of storage space. Use of the hotel facilities.
You can see why it’s so popular

And good value compared to overpriced Airbnb shite.

It seems to be the new Ballybunion for @thelimericks

We use exclusively Airbnb my family for our week long plus holidays the last 10 years and we’ve had mostly places with spectacular value for money. I find it very easy find good places and we have returned to some of them, two particularly . I don’t know how other people holiday in Ireland if they have kids and want a one week plus stay in a place. I’d be a big fan of Airbnb.

Iv had good experience overall too. But even once if you get a late cancellation for no reason it would spook you forever more
