Outstanding

Anyone using the word ā€˜passion’ in relation to their career should be regarded with suspicion

If they work as an escort, it should be good.

Let’s not leave an opening for the castrated ones to hijack the topic straight away.

Aka, the Botox thread.

I was called up about my response to an end of year query that included the words ā€˜drive’, ā€˜ambition’ and probably ā€˜passion’. I told him to put down whatever response he wanted on my behalf but I wasn’t going to lie to make him look good.

A Performance Improvement Plan ensued and he decided my performace still wasn’t of the required standard so a disciplinary hearing was the next stage. It was a ferocious cunt off and I won the day. The result was ā€˜no action necessary’. The stupid cunt spent a year trying to get me fired. I had a nice smug grin on my face next time I saw him.

Bullying in the workplace is an absolute aberration. You’re turning up to offer a service and provide for your family. Meanwhile some lunatic feels the need to flex muscles, establish imaginary hierarchies, expunge insecurities etc. But he fucked with the wrong chuck when he took on @mikehunt !

Women bosses are the worst ones for trying to bully people.
They think they have to supercompetitive to survive. A woman bossing a woman is often the nastiest scenario.

It wasn’t his first rodeo and I think the result was more a shot across his bow. I asked a lady who had fainted in the office one day was she ok a few days after. I didn’t know her only I was one of the first to go to her when she fell. She pointed at this prick and said it was him. She didn’t last long after. Numerous other stories but he’s still there.

I’m sorry to report that I’m reluctantly inclined to agree with you. However, i think it’s important to accept the possibility that not all wimmin are inherently evil- often it’s just that they tend to be ridiculously conscientious. Every institution has a myriad of initiatives, rules, policies, etc that are infinitely more honoured in the breach than the observance. The more conscientious female boss of the species often struggles with the confidence to take a common sense approach to discerning between the two, between managing people and managing the filing cabinet. As a result every trivial minutiae is seen as absolutely fundamental to the core business of the institution, and turmoil inevitably ensues.

I think i might actually start a consultancy bidness entirely aimed at helping wimmin bosses say ā€œah shur lookitā€, ā€œit’ll be grandā€ etc.
