Munster have signed Doug Howlett for next season - well from January onwards. I presume he won’t be a first choice winger in the World Cup (behind Rockocoko and Sivivatu) but he’s a class player and that’s the type of quality signing the Munster backline was crying out for.
Unbelievably gay music in that tribute.
If I was a Munster fan, I’d be a little concerned that its another high profile, galactico signing out wide, to solve all of their backs problems. Think they may have tried this before?
Howlett and Carney’s some serious finishing power, but their problems start in the centre. No creativity.
However, if I was a Munster fan, my penchant for tub-thumping bandwagonery would alllow me to overlook such concerns.
Well they have Barry Murphy and they have your man Tipoki now that they signed as well plus Mafi but I agree that’s their main weakness. All 3 of those guys and Lewis as well now that I think of it are runners with the ball (well I’m presuming a bit on Tipoki) and what they really lack is someone who has a bit of zip to keep the defence honest but who has good distribution.
I do wonder why they bought Warwick and is it to free up Manning or Warwick to play in the centre? Also they have some guy that was captain of the Ireland Under 20’s whose name escapes me but he’s a decent player too.
I hate rugby but I think I know this Ireland Under 20 chap’s name.
Keith Earls.
Very impressive if I’m correct. Am I?
Well done Bandage. I love how you pretend to hate rugby but you never miss a game.
Think you are son. Well done.
It’s true.
I haven’t missed an Irish international since the last game they played.
