Huns v Celtic 4th October 2009

I know we’ve the small matter of a match in Europe’s premier club competition* to contend with in the meantime but no reason we can’t look forward to the match at the hunnery at the same time.

I’ve just confirmed that the game is on Sky Sport Extra in Italy (http://guidatv.sky.it/guidatv/programma/sport/calcio/glasgow-rangers-celtic-live-_138044.shtml?eventid=21783168) so assuming they have that in abundance in Sardinia I’m all set for my barstool viewing.

Big opportunity this weekend to put a bit of distance between ourselves and the huns and to beat them at their bile-infested stadium. Not sure the poisonous atmosphere will be the same without me and Gary O’Brien in attendance but I wish TFKBRECSC all the best anyway.

Myself and the Beak are at a celebrity wedding on the Friday Bandage and will be getting a taxi straight from the secret location to the airport.

I suggest you stay up drinking on Friday night also, so that we are all in similar condition for departure.

I also suggest you arrange early check in at your place of rest as I am definitely getting some kip when we get over there.

McCourt has been called up to the occupied six squad for their last qualifier. Oh, how I want him to score at Ibrox ahead of joining up with them…:smiley:

Hinkel and McCourt didn’t train today after missing last night’s game against Rapid Vienna - they’re both having fitness tests tomorrow. Unfortunately, McCourt keeps breaking down with minor strains and niggles that are preventing him from getting a concerted run in the team.

Mowbray’s continuing to make some relatively baffling decisions like leaving Loovens out last night and taking Maloney off when he was our most dangerous player. Not sure what way he’ll go on Sunday but I’d like to see McCourt play if fit.
