Cork are full value for this scoreline at ht into the wind. They appear to have found the carkness again. That’s got worse teams far before
Rowland was blackguarded last year. He’ll be hard bate this year though.
Wind starting to ease off a bit?
True
Taking off John McGrath whilst leaving Jake Morris on is a bit baffling. Bonnar has been pretty redundant too but conditions must be terrible for him underfoot.
Question is, would a few more of last years U20’s be any better in these conditions?
Lack of Pace in the team a massive issue this season.
Tipp haven’t shown any fight.
Fair harmless half of hurling there
Harmless stuff
They’ve actually worked hard but their use of the ball has been horrendous
Quare harmless
Taking off John McGrath whilst leaving Jake Morris on is a bit baffling.
At least Morris looked interested in getting the ball, even if he was doing fuckall with it. John McGrath didn’t seem at the races at all. I’d say you could have taken a whole suite of players off there
Cork looking a lot more balanced side the last two days.
Tipps legs and fight seems gone. Be the last 35 minutes for a few of them if they don’t get motoring
I wonder if a lighter sliotar might lead to a few more scores.
Tipp are actually working hard in fairness, but just really headless in possession. Although, you would wonder why they don’t have more of an outlet in the full-forward line. The way they are playing would actually be more suited to playing into the wind.
But on the other hand, you’d imagine Cork will make use of the wind. That goal was huge and they’re working hard; Dalton is well-suited to these conditions and making a big impact. O’Flynn’s pace a threat. Harnedy hasn’t been great yet but will surely come into it.
Breen been best for Tipp. Morris is some man for going down with one hand on the hurley and miscontrolling it. Must be very frustrating for his teammates in these conditions.
Advantage Cork you’d have to say. Tipp will probably need at least one goal.
Pure harmless altogether
John McGrath hasn’t been at his best for a long time now. Inconsistent at best since 2016
They’ve actually worked hard but their use of the ball has been horrendous
They are losing all the tussles
Shocking lack of intinsity
More to do with dropping the ball than hard work
Tipp dressing room right now, waiting to talk…
