Should be a cracker next year. Cork, Tipp, Waterford and Dublin under new management. Galway, KK and Clare are looking to find the small margins to catch us. Wexford looking to build on a decent first year under Egan. Antrim and Westmeath will both be competitive too hopefully.

PJ’s crowd are from Arigna so you’d hope he’d cast his benevolent eye on Leitrim. Be great for the game and really strengthen Connacht hurling which is in the doldrums.
In fairness it’s an indictment of hurling in a province that it’s so bad that the only decent team has to play elsewhere.
I’d add that the counties all play decent hurling, just not to the level required these days. Any IC hurlers from Leitrim would get onto most junior teams, and a good few would play senior.
