Would a lot of hurlers get laser eye surgery?
Obviously itâs a lot harder to anticipate a ball that small when itâs being smashed from one end of the field to the other if your long distance vision is lacking a bit.

A lot would wear contacts alright not sure about laser eye surgery. Most lads probably wouldnât have enough money for it considering so many are in college. Think Donal Og used to wear contacts that made the ball appear more vivid

Would be a nice earner for an optician do sign some endorsement with the GAA/GPA to offer free or reduced laser eye surgeries for intercounty players with endorsements and PR from leading players that get it. Thereâs bound to be loads of muldoons who will choose a place to get the surgery done because Joe Canning or Austin Gleeson went there.
