I got to the ground at 140. I was at one of the less popular entrances. There was a queue of about 50 people at the ticket office (1 window open only) and about 20 people queuing at the season ticket entrance, so Iâd say poor management.
Wexford are the team to beat
I think a lot of the Wexford crowd probably got delayed in Ross. Parked about 10 minute walk away myself and found it fine as had purchased tickets the day before. Biggest issue seems to be the ticket office. There was no queue at the turnstiles but large queues for the ticket office. People obviously donât take it into account and used to just turning up 5 mins beforehand and getting straight in.
The Cork game as miles from a training session.
KK were wearing into it for first 25 mins and cork got up to the pace and physicality.
What was impressive was the skills if the players to move ball out if rucks this early in the year. Especially KK who are getting back to expert at it
I didnât say anything of the sort in fairness, I felt that Tipp looked rusty and that was contributing to a poor spectacle, strangely enough things improved after I made the comment and I mentioned as much, you clearly favour the agricultural style hurling that was on view in Ennis but I wouldnât agree with a lot of what you said about the game in Cork, although I only saw it on TV it looked competitive enough, winter hurling is generally shit.
Agree
A poor spectacle after last night â You were trying to blow the Cork game up as a high quality game in comparison to the Tipp game ⌠There were men standing free all over the place for both Cork and KK the other night â No tackles really put in â little intensity â but there was some nice shootingâŚ
What did you mean with â in comparison to last nightâ ?
If I didnt know better iâd swear you said it just to wind @carryharry up.
Who said that?
Was the opposite if anything.
Shooting was shit.
Pace was very good for time of the year.
As I said reason there was not as many battles was a technical and tactical reason. Not due to intensity
For about 50 mins the shooting was fairly decent - Harnedy, Lehane, Buckley et al all had some very decent long range scores⌠Ah it was very loose altogether⌠It was a training game for both teams⌠Our friend seems to think it was a game for the ages
Christ almighty, I never even said it was a good game, just that the first 50 minutes or so in Ennis was really shit, the game in Cork was much easier to look at
Will you fuck off Joe, where did I say any of that, @ChocolateMice has invented this from a very simple remark I made
It was only the first round of league, you need to calm down and stop getting so carried away. I know any time you beat KK is a good thing but honestly, reign it in a bit ffs.
Nah it was mixed. Cork in particular missed score able ones.
KK bigger culprits as game went on
Fuck off
Sure tis only a few weeks since they lost to Kerry
Youâll see whatâs what come summer when we walk all over you cunts⌠Typical of this place - getting carried away with one win
Any update on Buckley?
I hope ye do
