Hurling League 2018

He is in his bollocks. He is a fine athlete and hurler but his defensive instincts are shocking

O malley doing well too .

Heā€™s deffo up there.

Based on what?

Goals with only touch of second half and promptly gets replaced by Niall Burke. Straight red for Kinsella, no idea why. Fringe players going well, Glennon, Loftus, Iā€™ve been particularly impressed by Shane Cooney at wing back

Red card for Offaly

His performances in general what else?

Which performances?

What performances? A few league games? Have you ever seen Paudie Maher hurl?

I think there might be something in Chins all round combative style of play that doesnt lend itself to consistent free taking. When you look at Patrick Horgan, Jason Forde etc. They might only have 7 or 8 possessions in a game and cover half the ground Chin would. It can be hard to get the heart rate down to deliver a consistent strike each time.

Horgan should follow Kingston ā€¦ Meyler must be seething with the performances of his senior players here.

He hasnā€™t even played that well in the past two games. Great lad to drive forward and take a score though

Morey is a good player but thereā€™s no way Iā€™d take him over Paudie Maher, Cillian Buckley, Padraig Mannion for example.

Niall Deasy is still very raw

Yeah, Iā€™d have always thought of him as a fringe player on that Clare team. Will he even start if O Malley keeps it up?

Thatā€™s why I like him he drives forward and puts scores over on the run heā€™s much better on the wing than in the corner but he has a great style to him, always does well for the Bridge too.

Cork lads rightly ignoring their forwards and shooting from distance.

Ah he is putrid this year.

All the chopping and changing seems to have effected them. He has openly stated they have to prepare for changing around come May.

I think he may be over doing it. And the tactical flexibility does not exists. Thatā€™s what you need more than anything

More is an excellent hurler in isolation but he doesnā€™t really have a position where he can make his own. Great pace and a fine stick man but not tight enough for corner back, not strong enough in the air for wing back and we have better midfield options. Itā€™s a shame as he is very talented but hard to see him ever really nailing a spot and dominating consistently

Cork striking over a few long range points brings it back to a 6 point game.
