Finally sense prevails

Iā€™d say Kilkenny would have taken them again if theyā€™d got there. They beat them handy enough in the Leinster Final earlier in the summer.

Waterford were well beaten by Tipperary last time they played them in Limerick in 2016, but they can draw confidence from the fact they beat Tipperary in Limerick the time before that.

Last year this exact same statement was being used for Galway. It could be Limerickā€™s year.

Slight correction. Coen was having a great game at midfield, and Tuohy was rock-solid at corner back. His injury resulted in Coen being switched back to the corner and was a pivotal point alright.

No Touhy was midfield that day.

Wrong.

I know he had a good league last year but his lack of pace could be problematic at the later stages of the championship.

He was named in the corner, and picked up Noel McGrath for the first half while he was on the pitch.

Did he hit anyone in the balls or pull any helmets off opponents that day?

No mate. He hadnā€™t learned those dark arts at that stage. That came later when the team were studying footage of Waterford.

I hear they regularly practise pulling the helmets off one another in training.

And they usta bate tyres and practice clashing under Scully Ryan

Didnā€™t M Shanahan do just that a few weeks ago?

Iā€™m mixing him up amnā€™t I?

Brick Walsh did it in the AIF. Twice. At about 30min mark against Conor Whelan. Two nasty belts from behind where Whelan had no chance of protecting himself. Shit happens. Whelan got on with it.

Is he qualified to give prostate exams?

Iā€™ve been told heā€™s a great lad to squeeze a young weanling so perhaps he mistook Whelan for an orangy charlaois.
