Mick Roche (RIP) 1968 v Wexford was a popular one for years
What was horgans return that day. Listened to it online from c103 as the girlfriend is cark. Got some funny looks from insta wannabes next to the pool in ibiza not knowing the significance of All Ireland hurling
He must have got about 3-10.
He was incredible.
Aidan Walsh in that Munster u21 final in 2011 was incredible.
I would say that, or Callanan v Galway in 15 were the best I’ve ever seen.
Liam Watson v Cork 2010
That’s proper roaster stuff right there.10/10 roaster marks for not even having earphones.
Canning gave a serious display vs Clare in an under 21 semi in 09. Think he may have got 4 goals.
He got four, two were penalties and the other a long range free he connected with on the edge of the small square very late to put Galway a point up before Conor Tierney levelled it with the last puck. He started well and took Eamonn Glynn for 1-2 in the first 20 minutes before Cian Dillon came on and did a better job curbing him. He was a class above at that level.
Paddy Mullaney v Cork 2011
Still had the crackle of the radio despite being over the internet. Yourman on c103 has an awful lisp and thick cork accent that I can barely make out. Was beautiful, herself was all moody afterwards and I was winding her up claiming Limerick were on for back to back. The general public got a lovely domestic an all
Paul Flynn v Kerry 1993.
3-2 as an 18 year old making his championship debut as Waterford just came up short. Kerry 4-13 Waterford 3-13.
